Apple has added to its pool of applications, some more apps this month for its line of devices. It has released apps for their different users. Some are for business people, professionals, adults, teens and for children. In addition, it has some apps that one can download without spending a dime. Of all the apps that Apple produced in the month of August, these five have hit the market with a boom. They include:

Anchor pointer- This app is an asset for geographers, scientists and any other explorer. The app rules out the necessity of carrying a GPS or ordinary compass to the field.  It enables the user to store GPS coordinates and make use of a simple compass to reach any location. In addition, it switches to a night mode, any moment you require some light. If you are a modern navigator, this app will very beneficial as you find your way in different terrains.

Notifyr- This Apple application connects your Mac and iOS devices to display your handset notifications on the computer. Be it Facebook and WhatsApp or any other notifications you have set up on your handset, they will show up on your computer. This ensures that you do not keep turning to your iPhone and in particular, when you are busy.

Alone- This was one of the most sought iOS apps in the month of August. For those who love gaming, you should look out for this application. This game is simple you just drag up and down to steer an escape pod through galactic debris. You continue until you get to levels that are more difficult. The beauty with this app is that both adults and younger people can play it just as well.

Bioshock- This is another of Apple’s August 2014 release. It is a first-person shooter created in an underwater scene called Rapture. Players descend a falling city after a plane crash and they have to find a way to survive among the reputed duos and vandals. The underwater setting and the complete state of ruin make it an excellent world for the players to explore. The app is pricey but for those who love games, Bioshock is worth going for.
